Shadows from another place: TheWall is a locative media and web-based project that maps and overlays about 15-miles of the barrier/security wall being built in Israel and the Palestine Territories on selected U.S. and Canadian cities. Focussing on the area between Abu Dis in the south, and Qalandiya in the north, this segment of the wall represents only about 3% of the total structure that is currently being built there.

TheWall is a snapshot of time, place and circumstances using the web, locative, mobile and wireless technology inviting participants to imagine their cities reshaped by its presence.

There are three components:
- The website (http://www.thewall.name)
- Mapped overlays of the wall upon selected U.S. and Canadian cities
- Site specific locative walks designed for each selective city.
